The Kindergarten classes are specifically designed for the active young champs which keep them always self-driven and pragmatic. A Student Centric support and highly energetic Teachers always around engaging students in multiple of activities happening throughout the year. Developing Language, Skills and Social Interactions, every child is given individual and equal importance based on identifying interests that Encourage holistic development. Enhances learning by using age-appropriate technology. Socialize it in a safe environment.
Lower Primary and Upper Primary follow the NCERT Curriculum. The student-centered curriculum concentrates more on application-oriented learning and thus everyday lessons are associated with what is called ‘Experiential Learning’ where every child is a ‘meta thinker’ in their respective 21st century learning spaces.
The Middle-Secondary Grades follow the NCERT Curriculum, which is joyful, experiential, and innovative. Practical, real-life learning is an integrated part of class activities for the secondary grades and hence innovation is an inseparable part of their learning
Irrespective of the age level and curriculum Skill oriented learning is the teaching methodology followed in all grades where teaching of all concepts and information is aimed at developing particular skills related to the age of the child. Students participate in the sports and cultural activities with a competitive spirit through this house system, where we have year-long inter-house competitions running.
The objectives of competitions at Baptist Matric School are to

In order to ensure that children get exposed to right meaningful activities at the right age. We have structured club activities for children from Grades IV- VIII as part of their regular school hours. This structure ensures that once in a week, the child gets to spend few hours in the choice of their club activities. We have various Clubs operating at Baptist Matric School, where each child from Grades IV-VIII needs to be a part of one club during the academic year.

k. Extra Curricular Activities:
While the competitions and Club activities exist as co-curricular activities, we also encourage children to take part in regular Extra Curricular Activities to develop their individual interest and talents. Hence a defined ECA hour exists in the time table for the children. At the end of the 8 th hour, between 3.10 pm and 4 pm, children have the 9 th hour schedule for ECA. Interested children are allowed to choose one activity from a vast list and that particular activity is provided at a nominal fee by external coaches who are specialized in that particular activity. The vast list of activities available at Baptist Matric School during the ECA hour are Karate, Skating, Football, Basket Ball,
Throwball, Chess, Abacus, Robotics etc.
Art is a cakewalk for students @ Baptist Matric because of the specialized training given from the Kindergarten level. Separate period hours are allocated for art and our students have excelled to the level of organizing an art exhibition every year with their own paintings. Music is a part of regular period hours and our students are specialized in vocal music. Psychological support is also ensured to students through student counselors who not only help in special cases but also take care of academic help and extra coaching needed for students.
Sports are an integral part of schooling at Baptist Matric and hence we have continuous Sports activities across the year apart from the regular Physical Education lessons. Regular Sports camps have been running every evening throughout the year where an active set of students take part. Football is a specialized sport at Baptist Matric apart from which we have teams for Throwball, Kabadi, Kho-Kho, Skating, Karate, Chess, Carrom, Badminton, and athletics.
